*OUTPUT OFF* The kermit problem that i described in a previos posting with kermit-32 on vax/vms , i have some more information. I had an HP4951C protocol analyzer on the line (beacuse the patch cables fits to the HP48SX ) and this is what they said. Note that sending from the hp to the vax went ok. Note 2 i'm omitting the intoductional 01H (sh) code that start each message. when i press the receive button the hp says # N3 to the vax (omitting leading 01hex and trailing cr) sending from the vax gives this data to the hp , Sp/ @-#Y1~Y hp answers back with + Y~* @-# 1. This makes kermit-32 on the vax to freak and replying G E%KERMIT-E-PROTOERR, Protocol error& This error is also displayed by the hp and then RECV: Undefined local name Why ?
