The manual says that ASN takes two arguments : - In level 2, the object to be assigned to the key - In level 1, the three-digit location .... Is there an easy way to get an object in level 2? The only way I have been able to do this is more complicated then just using the STOKEY command. (I was trying to do the example of assigning DUP2 to 36.2) Thanks for any help. If anyone is interested, I have a program to display the hp48 screen on the screen of an IBM-PC. ie, when you hit prlcd, the screen is sent over the serial line, and displayed on the screen. I also have some code that will let you give commands from your pc to the hp48sx without havinf to type "remote host" or a defined string every time. The program uses the code from the kermit book to do a remote host command. Both of these are more proof of concept rather then production code. In the excellent article on the hp48sx internals by Alonzo Gariepy, it says that [SPC] dumps 1000h memory locations to the serial line. I believe that the 1000h should actually be 10000h. WRT archive sites, there doesn't appear to be any sites for the hp48sx in the usa. (I do know of gmuvax2..., but that seems to be mostly for the 28sx right now, and funic.funet.fi is in finland) If this is the case, I would be happy to set up a site for the hp48sx on calvin.stanford.edu so we all don't have to ftp from Finland.
