[comp.sys.handhelds] Atari Portfolios

fetrow@milton.acs.washington.edu (David Fetrow) (06/01/90)

 Yet another Portfolio owner.

I mostly USE a Psion Organizer though. Built i "Basicklsh" language, a
screen I don't have to flip up to see, a nice LOUD alarm even when the
machine is closed and a reasonable chance of being able to change the
battery on the fly while retaining info were very important to my application.
(It warns when the battery is low too)

Of course, the Portfolio is wonderfully slick and, unlike the Psion, it
isn't hopeless to type on. In business environment a quiet alarm is a plus
and, with the charger, changing batteries doesn't mean losing files.
