A friend of mine has discovered a slight anomaly in the 48's syntax rules. If you enter a program and store it as the current equation using NEW, the 48 adds '.EQ' to the name you give it. The problem is that if you later switch the fraction mark to a comma, you no longer can enter the name of the equation, since you suddenly no longer can't have decimal points in variable names. The name is right there on the menu label, but if you press ' followed by the menu key and ENTER to put the name on the stack you get a syntax error. We had some very confused minutes before we figured this out when my friend, who insists on using a comma for fraction mark, this being the Swedish standard, fell prey to this bug. Leif Nixon
