[comp.sys.handhelds] Request: HP-41 software

bson@wheaties.ai.mit.edu (Jan Brittenson) (07/07/90)

It would be much appreciated if someone would care to mail me (or
post) the following software for the not-quite-yet-obsolete-HP-41.

	- A fast program of solving f(x) = 0, for a given f(x).

	- A program for approximating the differential coefficient
	  dy/dx = f'(x) for a given f(x) and a given x.

	- A program for approximating y in dy = f(x) dx for a given
	  f(x) and a given x.

In the past I've had lots of programs to do exactly this, but now
that I need them for the first time since school days they are nowhere
to be found... And, oh, both real and complex, discrete
(lin/log-spaced sample data in regs or xmem) and continuous (user
supplied f(x)) versions are needed!
