I seem to recall that someone posted a list of the bugs in the various revision of the 48sx ROM. Does anyone have that list anymore? I'm trying to decide whether I should fork out $50 more to get the D ROM. Email will do fine. George Chow

Here's the one I have. ------------------------------- Here it is, the Anomalies [BUGS] and the affected ROM levels Anomaly Level ------- ----- The DEFINE command rounds numerical values in a user-defined A function definition according to the current display mode, potentially losing accuracry in the stored definition. Entry of a symbolic complex number in polar form '(A,<B)' A,B,C,D returns 'B*COS(A)-i*B*SIN(A)' instead of 'A*COS(B)+i*A*SIN(B)' The NXEQ operation executed from the Graphics environment with A the Numerical Results flag (-3) set, may cause the current equation to be overwritten with a numerical value. The KGET command will cause calculator memory to be cleared if A you attempt to transfer a file of length 0 (zero) from your computer. If the Clock Format flag (-41) is set, so that the time is A displayed in 24-hour format, the Alarm Catalog will show the incorrect ones-digit for minutes in the alram time. The INV command returns an incorrect result if you attempt to A,B,C invert an 8 by 8 or larger matrix. And, there they are...the sheet includes workaround and avoidance procedures...but they're pretty stupid [like don't do it! kind of avoidance steps]. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ulrich Kienzle (ulki@hpbbn) Mechanical Design Division R&D Boeblingen, West-Germany Phone: +49 7031 14 2893 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
