[comp.sys.handhelds] cases for hp48

Does anyone have any opinions on cases for the hp48 (I seem to recall seeing
some in the product list posted a while ago)? The case that came with it
(gray velcro flip-top) fits so badly that I would like to see about getting
something else...

I like the flip-top velcro case. The one they ship now (with the E's, I
presume) is a lousy zipper case. The zipper can scratch the calculator
(god forbid) when you open or close it. A friend of mine took his zipper
case to the University bookstore and traded his 'new' case for the 'old'
demo velcro case they had with their display model.

If you don't like those, you can try to find an old HP-41 leather case. The
one that I tried could just exactly fit the 48SX. It was a zipper case,
though. But I imagine that there were many styles of cases made for the
41 during its production lifetime.
