Hi folks - I thought it was about time to mention again that there will be a meeting of the HP handheld users in conjunction with the upcoming Winter Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, which will be held from Thurs- day, January 10th to Sunday January 13th, 1991. The meeting currently is scheduled to be held on the evening of Saturday Jan 12th, 1991. Information will be posted here as more details are known. Richard Nelson will be organ- izing the meeting (as he has done every January in L.V. going back at least to 1983) and there will be info at the Hewlett-Packard booth at the CES on the exact meeting location. Also, it's not too soon to mention again that the next full-fledged calculato user's conference will be held on Friday Aug 2, 1991 to Sunday August 4th 1991 in Corvallis, Oregon at Oregon State University's Stewart Center. Two previous conferences were held there and were very successful. This con- ference includes an HP plant tour (as did the 1981 conference. Did the 1988 one also have one?) followed by two days of technical sessions. There should be lots to talk about by next Summer. Lastly, I wanted to mention that an astounding 52 copies of the videotapes from last June's Chicago Calculator Conference were distributed. I'll be taping again in January and will let the netters know what transpired. Jake Schwartz
