This seems like a dumb question to me but since I couldn't come up with a dumb answer, here goes: I've downloaded stpwatch.lib and stpwatch.txt from gmuvax2.gmu.edu and am trying to install it. I've gotten the stpwatch.lib object down to my 48sx but I have not been able to attach it as a library. I followed the instruction in stpwatch.txt to evaluate stpwatch.lib in level 2 and a port no in level 1 and press sto. The calculator comes back with an invalid argument error. I had used a number (a real) for the port no. I have also tried it with the :port#:library# format with no more luck. I have RTFM but the only mention of library is in Volume II in association with transfer. That section also alluded to an attach command but it didn't give any example. So how do I attach or otherwise make use of stpwatch.lib? (Is the manual suppose to be so vague about libraries? Am I missing something? Is HP planning to release a more comprehensive set of manuals?) George Chow BTW: this is to Diana Byrne (dianab@hpcvrl.cv.hp.com). Thanks to your reply wrt my question about object corruption. I tried to reply to you but it bounced. Do you have an alternate address?
