I don't know much about the HX-20, but I am rapidly becoming more and more impressed with the model 100. I have had mine for about a week now, and still have trouble believing that Radio Shack markets it (being a somewhat disgruntled model 1 user). While rumaging through memory, I came upon some interesting things. Among the list of i/o devices are "WAND" and "CRT", presumably for the Bar Code Reader and a video display. There also seem to be instructions in BASIC to do with disk i/o (DSKI$, DSKO$) Radio Shack are pretty vague about what will be available for the machine in the future, but it seems promising. All in all, I am a satisfied user (in fact this posting was prepared on my Model 100 and then uploaded to our vax through the 300 baud modem). David Rowley micomvax!dwrowley
