[comp.sys.handhelds] On Sad vers 1.02

cloos@acsu.buffalo.edu (James H. Cloos) (10/25/90)

Hello all. I just mailed a report of this off to Jan, but I thought
there might be enough interest to post.

When I initally made sad, I used the Makefile as distributed. I got
segmentation fault errors. I tried remaking it, using gcc rather than
cc and the CFLAGS def that was commented out with the CC=gcc def. Now
there are no problems.

I'm doing this on a sparcstation, sunos 4.1;

	cc -O

versus

	gcc -pipe -O -fstrength-reduce -fcombine-regs -fomit-frame-pointer \
	-finline-functions

to be exect.

Exactly what the problem is, I've no idea.

Enjoy.
