I just got my Equation Library last Wednesday (6 weeks exactly) and I've been playing around with it. I found in the UTILS directory an object ELVER that puts up a nice title screen. It said that I have version A of the EqLib. What versions do other people have? On another note, I had a `memory crash' also last week. I believe it was induced by the EquationWriter. I had produced a derivative which I tried to recall into the EquationWriter (I had 13K free at the time). The EquationWriter bonked out after a little while with an out of memory error message. I thought that was that and so just cleared the stack. A little while latter, I wanted to edit one of my program in { HOME }. I did a visit and found that it was corrupted; it was just a very short program but there were all sorts of garbage. (Sorry for being so vague but this all happened last week and I didn't note down the messages and so forth.) Seeing this, I did a ON-C and answered yes. When it was finished, I pressed VAR and noticed that every non-directory object in { HOME } was gone. As well, all directories have been renamed to D.01, D.02, and so forth. In D.01, there was an object called Alarms that seem to contain all my alarms. The question: what happened? Since I'm not very accurate about my description, I can't expect a very detailed explanation but does anyone know what might have happened. Also, how can I use the Alarms object to reestablish all my alarms? George Chow

I just got my EQ Lib card yesterday (yea!). Six weeks exactly, also (how do they do that? Doesn't it just bug you to death!). Mine is also rev A. That's probably all they'll have for awhile. I havn't heard of any problems with it.
