I was just wondering, has anybody compared the variour versions of the HP 48SX? By this I mean, downloading the memory 00000-7FFFF and generating a difference report. I guess what I'm really asking is: when doing low level coding (RPL or ML) what addresses can relied upon. I would guess anything rthat a Library references is fair game. Derek S. Nickel

This makes bug fixing rather tricky, he observed, but they're HP, so they can do anything. He did imply that perhaps a very few SYSEVAL addresses might move, but only becuase those were deemed not usable from any program other than their callers. Mark Adler madler@piglet.caltech.edu
