[comp.sys.handhelds] HP-48 memory card same as Korg M3R?????

Well, I noticed something very interesting over the weekend. I picked up a
new synthesizer called the M3R. It has a slot for ram cards/ rom cards.
I noticed that the ram card in the picture in the Korg book looked exactly
like the ram card I have for my HP-48. In addition, the number for the
Battery is identical also. Well, I don't own a ram card for the Korg, but
I do own a rom card which goes in the same slot. The spacing on the fingers
and the length of the fingers and all the dimensions of the two cards are
identical. Well big deal, you might say.
The price of an HP-48 128k ram card in the educalc catalog is 194.95.
To the best of my knowledge, a ram card for the Korg is only $89. Hmm....

Can anybody verify this info? I will be getting a ram card for the
Korg sooner or later, but funds are low at the moment. I suppose I could plug
the HP card into the korg, but thats twice the risk as the other way. If
anyone knows about this, please post or email.
