I have a 28s that I am very happy with (not that I wouldn't mind having a 48sx, but ....). In the past month or so, I have started noticing strange things going on. On more than one occasion, the battery annunciator has come on, even though I changed my batteries fairly recently. I have read that recent posts on battery problems and I have been waiting for the worst to happen. Then, while in the middle of graphing something, I got a sudden "Memory Lost". Okay, I chalk that up to the battery problem. But I have noticed something more subtle that I don't understand. While entering a long program, list, or string, characters on lines above the one I'm working on (that I know I typed correctly) have CHANGED, usually to some garbage character! This has happened on more than one occasion. Then yesterday I was typing in a list, and it happened again, so I started moving the cursor to correct it, and EVERY time I moved the cursor to another character, that character would be replaced with the blinking cursor and the character from the line above it!! When the cursor was moved, the character would be returned to the display at its original spot. What is going on here? Has anyone else had screwy incidents like this? Could this be related to the battery problem? Help!!!!
