On Sunday, November 11th, Bill Wickes made a stop on a business trip in the Philadelphia area and visited our local HP handheld user group. He discussed various aspects of HP48 history, software development, net activity, etc. I videotaped this meeting, with Bill's talk representing the great majority of the activity, which lasted just under four hours. The seventeen attendees were pretty much all happy they came and probably all learned a tidbit or two. Thanks to Bill for taking time out from a long trip to meet with us, and also thanks to Dave Kaffine for driving all the way down from Boston to be present and to share some of his HP48 software achievements. This tape is available for ten dollars (which includes postage). I am copying it at "middle" speed (4-hour capacity on a T-120 tape) onto a VHS tape (NTSC format only...apologies to the folks whose countries use PAL format only - if someone out there would be gracious to volunteer to convert NTSC to PAL, please get in touch with me!) I will also throw in a copy of the 18-page handout which was provided to all Philadelphia Area HP Handheld Club attendees that night. More details on the specific topics of Bill's talk with the group soon. The topics were primarily driven by the questions from the audience.
