[comp.sys.handhelds] TETRIS for HP48

johnea@yvax.byu.edu (11/13/90)

Christian,

I found that same TETRIS game and it worked prefectly for me. I don't want to
make your mouth water, but boy is it fun... (Albeit a little slow.) Another
thing you need to watch is that you tranfer it from the Mac to the HP with the
binary option. (This is in the Send Dialog box of MacKermit.) If that doesn't
work, send me a mail message describing exactly what your doing and Ill see
what else I can come up with...

Good luck,

I don't mean to single this person out, but hopefully he'll realize that
he's not the only victim of this little flame.

Would the comp.sys.handhelds community at large PLEASE STOP ASKING FOR
ML TETRIS TO BE POSTED? The request has benn voiced many, many, many
times, and the author(s) and/or other people in a position to post
it have read that request many, many, many times. If it's going to
happen, the wheels have already been set in motion.

On a slightly priggish note, if you want to play good Tetris go buy a
Gameboy. It's a heck of a lot cheaper if you want to play good games
on a handheld. Not to demean the accomplishments of the author of
CHIP48 or, indeed, any of the other games posted here - anyone who can
undertake a programming task like that and bring it off so well has my
admiration. But anybody who spent 350 bucks on a calculator and doesn't
have anything better to do than play games on it is either not too fond
of money or is something of a lamer.

Sorry if I've offended anyone, but this group is comp.sys.handhelds, not
rec.games.hp48. Although I wouldn't actually *mind* seeing the
  Tetris, myself... :-)
