That's more like it! Much thanks to all of you who helped me get this to work.
The main problems were an incorrect protection on my uucp directory and having
to tell Kermit on the Sun to use extended-length packets. No null modem was
needed, just a gender bender, although this still mystifies me. Both the Sun
and the '48 (in Donnelly's book, anyway) claim to be DTE. Oh well, it wouldn't
be the only typo in that book if the '48 cable is actually DCE.
Ok, now what I need you to do is send me some of your favorite utilities,
starting with ASC\-> and \->ASC. I don't care if I get a hundred copies; slow
Tetris just doesn't cut it!
