Basically its a bunch of solenoids in a housing that mounts on top of the Selectric's keyboard and fire at the appropriate times. Actually, I thought it was more of a novelty than a useful thing, but it *did* do the job with a minimum of wear and tear on the Selectric (standard drivers have been known to burn out Selectrics in a short time).
