From: Charlie Strom <CSTROM@mit-mc> I have been advised that the Diablo 630 ECS (Extended Character Set) will be delayed due to production problems (the stepper) for 90-120 days. I have not seen the printer in action, but with 192 character daisy wheels and at a price quote I received of < $2500, I think this printer is going to be a winner. We have several 630 RO printers here and are quite pleased with the reliability, contrary to some reports I had received in the past. The capability of printing Greek characters, mathematical symbols, etc. without a wheel change or the use of that clunker known as the Twin-track will be a real blessing. Any input on the 630 or 630 ECS would be appreciated. Charlie Strom
