Hi Folks - Once again (and every January) there will be an HP Users' Meeting in conjunction with the Winter Consumer Electronics Show (WCES) in Las Vegas. The WCES is 1/10 to 1/13 and the meeting will be on Saturday evening, January 12th at 7 PM at the Denny's Restaurant on Boulder Highway, about 5 or so miles southeast of downtown Las Vegas. For those of you attending the CES pick up info on the meeting at the Hewlett-Packard booth. There will be lots of new products demonstrated for the HP48, such as disk drives, new plug-in cards, EEPROM burners and the like. I will be out ther from today to next Monday. Jake Schwartz

I recently purchased an HP-48sx. It is my first serious calculator (unless
you count a TI-55 as "serious") and my first HP. Is there a national HP users
group (other than the lists)? What I'm looking for a is a Newsletter or
Magazine centered around HP calculators-- so that, though I'm in the boonies
I can find out about new developments & products such as disk drives etc.
