I am quite interested in application of the HP-48 in the classroom. Also, I would like to know what other types of calculators(hand helds) are available with comparable performance. Are there any others with a built in solver, symbolic manipulator and graphics capabilities like the HP? If so, how do they compare with the HP? Thanks in advance. Harry E. Bates HBATES@TOWSONVX

Harry E. Bates: Call Mike (in charge of educational stuff) at EduCALC, and he can compare the various graphics & solver-type calculators for you. Casio, TI and HP all have VERY nice machines for educational use. EduCALC's number: (800) 677-7001 or (714) 582-2637. -- Joe Horn -- Peripheral Vision, Ltd. --
