Where is the best place (best price) to purchase an HP-48sx? Kevin -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- For Binary Fans... Peter: I can relate to your horror story of losing the HP 48 off a bike, because mine went flying off my motorcycle a few weeks ago, and landed right in the middle of the street (after bouncing for quite a while), where lots of cars proceeded to run over it. Luckily, however, their tires never hit it, and as soon as there was a tiny break in the traffic I ran out there and picked up my poor 48 and ran back to safety (this is Southern California, remember!). The padded case was partly shredded, and had holes worn through in two places. You can imagine how amazed I was to pull it out, find it intact, and not only did it work just fine, but all my programs were still in it! A trip to EduCALC for a new padded case (their very last kangaroo-style one) and it's good as new. If only HP Keynotes was still being published; this is almost as good as the HP-25 that survived a trip through a snowblower... [-jkh-]

Well, Jake, it'd be very easy to convince Henry to go back to doing what he always enjoyed. It wasn't his decision to axe Keynotes. <big unsmilie> :-( Thank goodness for bbs's and email, the user's club of the future... Joe Horn
