     Man, where have you been? This is a fire that's burned in other parts
of the world for some time now. I brought this up earlier, and one
persistent person (don't remember who) pounced on me and tried to tell me
ASC was better. What I proposed was that uudecode/encode be written for
the 48. That way, if you don't have access to uuencode/decode on another
system, you can have it on the 48, or if you have it on your local
mainframe, you don't need it on the 48, but either way, we'll be using
a more available utility which would serve the same purpose.

2. Pain in the butt. 

     I wouldn't go THAT far. It has always worked well for me. But then,
I have a 128k card.
 
3. Not a standard form of transportation.

     Also agreed. UU utilities are more standard. Even if some people
still don't have these, they're more readily available.
 
4. How many times are we going to see a bad post of Tetris?

     Until people see that it's a waste of time.
(I'm sure to get flamed for that one).
