Hi! Does anyone know how to get a GROB out of the picture made by the Equation writer. When entering GRAPH while playing around in the EQW, one doesn't get the menu options for cutting out graphic objects. Is there som key combination I've missed? Hi. Not only can you push STO when in the EquationWriter mode to get a GROB of the equation, but you can also put an algebraic on the stack in Level 1, and then execute 0 \->GROB. This will process the algebraic and return the Equation Writer GROB version, just as if you had entered the EqnWr and pushed STO. It takes just as long, too!! Scott sburke@jarthur.claremont.edu

Two ways to do it: 1) While in the normal Equation Writer (but NOT scrolling mode), press STO. 2) With the equation on Level 1, press: 0 [PRG]{DSPL}[NXT][NXT]{->GROB}.
