Some questions regarding the hpcvbbs and the hp48:
1) Is the hpcvbbs sick or what?! I've dialed-in for the past three days,
entered "new" at the login prompt, and then entered my name at the
"Please enter your name:" prompt only to have the bbs not respond with
any output or acknowledgement for several minutes (I gave it the benefit
of the doubt in that it must be seaching some database :-). Is the hpcvbbs
working (and how often is it working properly?!), has anyone had success
logging-in and downloading, or is it just a long-distance charge black hole??
Also, I tried (503)750-4448 at 2400 baud and (503)750-3277 at 9600, as
advertised here on the net, and was only able to get them working at 1200
baud. Anyone have success at higher baud rates?
2) Regarding the hp48, on the average how much memory do the programs that
have been posted here (e.g., phone list, tetris, etc) require? Maybe
I should ask "How soon after I get a 48 will I fill up the 32K and need a
128K card" ;-)
