ELECTRONIC ORGANIZER ENHANCES HP 48SX
Corvallis, Oregon - February 15, 1991 Q Sparcom Corporation has just intro-
duced the first of its series of Pocket Professional(tm) software products for
the HP 48SX scientific expandable calculator: The Personal Information
Manager Pac (PIM Pac).
Technical professionals and students now have a powerful personal database
management tool for the HP 48SX handheld calculator. This Pocket Profes-
sional(tm) software pac contains appointment book, note pad, phone directory,
expense account, and hour log functions which store information in a menu-
driven format. Once the information is stored, summary reports can be gener-
ated and sent to a printer, disk drive, or PC. Phone lists and notes can be
entered via a word processor and transferred to the HP 48SX using Kermit(tm)
transfer software and a serial cable.
The Pocket Professional(tm) PIM Pac software comes programmed onto a plug-in
ROM memory expansion card designed for the HP 48SX. It stores database
information in the user memory of the calculator. A 50-page manual details
all aspects of PIM Pac operations.
