Has anyone been able to conver a tiff file to grob sucessfully? I'm trying to convert IBM drawings to grob. I tried using various packages to create a small drawing, them use graphics works to convert that format to TIFF. Then I use TIFF2GROB <posted on this board> to convert it to grob.... When I convert it to GROB the file becomes unusually large....like 2k in tiff turned into 16k in grob.....

The fact that the grob is much larger than the tiff is not necessarily
a bug. Tiff images are frequently compressed whereas grobs are not.
So the 2k tiff becomes 16k grob (unexpanded).

How big was your picture? Pixel rows vs. pixel columns? Anxiously awaiting your response... Ray ----------
