[comp.sys.handhelds] Revised processor notes in public domain

alonzo@microsoft.UUCP (Alonzo GARIEPY) (03/05/91)

I have received requests to republish my Saturn processor notes.
Until recently, I asked that they be distributed free except for
photocopying charges. Now that many errors and syntactic details
have been worked out and the idea of "improved" mnemonics validated,
it seems appropriate to distribute them more widely.

Specifically, I would like to put corrected versions of parts 2 and 3
of the notes in the public domain. In light of the HP 48SX and various
assemblers and disassemblers created by members of this forum, the
other two parts of the notes are obsolete.

If you have any contributions, corrections, or suggestions please email
them to me in the next week or two. I would like to incorporate a 48SX
RAM map, the locations of useful machine language subroutines, and more
meaningful descriptions of how the registers are used in the 48SX. The
revised notes will be posted as soon as I can get this information.
