How do I play games like blinky (pacman) and sub.m+m. I d/l them and run them and just get text on the screen. Do I have to compile them with chip or something? How do I do that? Thanks. Also, why is it when I make a TIFF file into a grob it gets really large? -- _____ / / / /_____/ ___ / / / / / / /

A picture as big as the 48's display, 131 x 64 pixels, takes 1098 bytes when stored as a grob, and 2193 bytes when stored as a string. A 300 x 200 pixel picture takes 7610 bytes when stored as a binary, and 15K when stored as a string. A question like "why does TIF2GROB make such a huge file" is difficult to answer unless you can tell us how big the picture is. Regards Ray Depew HP ICBD -- IC's By Decree rrd@hpfitst1.hp.com
