Hello,
I just stumbled upon something that I do not remember seeing
mentioned here in the past.
I just ran TETRIS with my binary wordsize set to 8-bits, and
TETRIS behaved very unhappily. Basically, it got stuck for a
few seconds and then crashed the machine (it basically did a
ON-C automatically) after doing some very strange stuff on the
display. Is this a known problem? Once I set
my wordsize back to 64-bits I had no problems.

I found a Tetris a while back on an FTP site. However, when I play it on my HP, it runs incredibly slow. Slow meaning after I press a key, the piece doesn't react until 2 seconds later. Is it suppose to be this slow, or do I have a really old version? Is there a newer version that's more playable? Joe, TETRIS does have to be set to 64 word length, which is one of the fixes in the next version. Eric, The incredibley slow version is the very old one, the new one has machine -code routines, and is much faster and is playable, unlike the non-ml version. I'm putting the final touches on the last version of Tetris and I will post it ver soon (prob. today) --Falco
