[net.micro] New Commodore comp. query

    Glancing thru magazine ads, I've seen vendors who are selling the
following models, all of which I think are the same:

                     P 128
                     C 128
                     B 128
                     B 500.

Now, in a flyer I got from Commodore about 3-4 months ago(some of you may
have seen the summary I posted), the closest model I can find is the P 500.
Any comments on this??????  I've also seen one ad for the B700, which is
the model number given in the flyer for a business computer (~$3000).

   After I posted the previous thing, I went and talked with a local vendor
of Commodore products.  He told me that Commodore scrapped the P 500.  He
said that it was costing too much to make it conform to FCC standards.
The plot thickens.......
