Hi, Could I ask how do you people find out what version your HP48sx is? It doesn't seem to be in the owner's manual.. Thanks! You should see three vertical bars on the screen. 4: Press <- (Delete on the right hand side). 5: Press EVAL. You will get a message like: Version HP48-X Copyright HP 1989 with the X replaced with the ROM version that you have. To get out of this, 1: Hold in the ON key. 2: Press and release the C key. 3: Release ON. Hi there, To find your version number, press ON-D then BACKSPACE to enter the memory scanner. Now press EVAL and your version number will be displayed. Do not press EVAL at any other address than this. To check the vesrion of your 48sx:1. press on + the third key from the left top. 2. press the backspace (<-) key (with the drop above) 3. press eval. now the versin will appear on the display.
