[comp.sys.handhelds] The RESET switch

ahernsd@mentor.cc.purdue.edu (Dynastar) (04/08/91)

I have an HP48sx rev E, and my roommate has a rev C.

I read the posting about the RESET switch being under the
upper left foot of the calculator. Now here is the
strange part.

On his hp, the reset switch IS on the upper left.
MINE is under the upper right.

?????????????

What exactly does it do when you stick something in there?

(And I didn't know that there was a HARDWARE upgrade as
well as software with the upgrades? :-)

Things that make you say hmmmmm........

Well, there are actually holes underneath _both_ feet; only one of them
performs a reset. And it's a nice, functional RESET, too... ;-)

Scott.
