Hi, I was wondering if there's an easy way to enter in two or more equations and have the HP solve for them simultaneously. These equations are not the simple 3x + 4y.....= 3 type equations. They're more like 1 -T/rt --- = c e x (Arrehnious)..and I don't really know how to stick that into a matrix. Is there a way to just type in 2 equations with two unknowns in the eqn writer (or directly) and press a solve key and it'll solve for the two unknowns? I know Eureka, by Borland, for the IBM can do this. -- | Internet: Eric_Hsiao@MTS.RPI.EDU > Read GIF News - a freely copied news < | | sunyat@rpi.edu > magazine in .GIF file format. To solve that simple a set of simultaneous equations, use ISOL to isolate the variable you desire, then EQ\-> to blow up the result, and store that into the variable, then EVAL to evaluate the 2nd equation. Scott.

The program is on the math directory with the name MULT.EQ.SOLVER or something like that. ====================================================================== ___ I__) _ _I _ _ TIM STRONG <TDSTRONG%MTUS5.BITNET@CUNYVM.EDU> I \ (_I (_I (_I I MICHIGAN TECH.
