I'm the one who asked for help earlier about moving files from my
PC to my 48SX via ProComm (I'm not sure how to setup PCPLUS and my
HP to do this). My email address got cut off of my signature.
Sorry.

I happen to be using Procomm+ with my hp48. After many hours of figuring out the proper configuration, I finally got it, and it works beautifully. Here is the config. that Iam using: Go to the port/line settings (alt-P) set parameters to N/8/1 (alt-N), 9600baud (5), then the comm port that your cable is hooked to (mine is comm1). If this happens to be the same port as your mouse, then you have to re-boot with the mouse driver deactivate. Next, go to the setup menu (alt-s), and switch the connection type parameter to direct (D..then toggle to direct). I dont know is all these steps are necessary, but mine is working on them, and as long as it works, who cares. Good luck, Derek Manquen, Michigan Tech Univ. DCMANQUE at mtus5.cts.mtu.edu

I have no trouble with ProcommPlus. I'm using it now and upload/down-lod my programs with it from the BBS. No probs.
