I am thinking of building the MPX-16 computer described in the Nov, Dec, and
January issues of Byte. I was wondering if anyone on this list has any
experience with it. I would like to know which of the following options is
worth following.
  1. Wire-wrapping the entire circuit using the schematics given in these
      issues.
  2. Buying the blank Pc board with the EPROMs for $300.
  3. Buying the wave soldered pc board with all sockets, passive components
and expansion and 5 expansion connectors installed. No ICs included.
      $595.

I would like to know what option you tried and how successful you were. Also
how much time and money did you end up spending on the whole system. Have you
gotten it to do anything useful yet. How much do you like it. If you were
to do it all over again would you choose another system.

If anybody has any comments on the board in general I would like to hear about
them too. I will forward all entries back to the list in one chunk.
		Thanks in advance. Sesh
P.S. I am quite decided I want to build this system. But if you think that
there are some other systems that I ought to be looking at I would like to
hear from you.
