I am trying to write a paper on what affect the introduction of laptop computers will have on the computer industry. For example: Will it really allows computer illiterate users to work computers. Is it the next big step in computers ala windows environments? Will it allow tablet computers to take a greater place in peoples everyday lives ? These type questions !! Your input would be greatly appreciated. And are not limited to the question above but tablet computers in general, basically anything you want to say about tablet computers.

There were some interesting articles in the last couple of issues of PC Mag (I think it was PC Mag...) anyway the opinion seems to be that the tablet computers will take over a specialized niche in computing. The niche, it seems to be agreed, will be in the jobs of insurance salesman and foreman. These jobs mostly involve filling out forms and the like. Personally I can type a heck of a lot faster than I can write and I get virtually no cramps (sans occasional wrist strain) typing. Mike Heyda
