Well, I have been doing a good deal of spring cleaning, and came across my first calculator, the trusty HP-35, still in its original case, with original power supply and cobbled-together batteries (a friend made them after my original batteries bit the dust). Original price: $295 (well, that's what it was in 1972!). Seriously, though, does anybody want the thing? Is there such a thing as an HP calculator collector? You can call me at (201) 582-4590 during East Coast working hours (although I'm often not about), or better yet just email and I'll get back to you with the answer (You bought it! or Sold already! or Make me a better offer!) Alan Weiss, HP28S user, and proud of it.

Please note this is being posted for a friend (see reply-to field). My friend has an HP35 calculator he wishes to swap/trade for a current model HP. The HP35's condition is average for a machine of this age (ie: no major scratches, bangs etc., etc...). Battery compartment cover has been broken and repaired. Batery pack is ok. No manuals or charger. A name has been engraved below the bottom row of keys. It does not exhibit the Ln 2 bug. What is this worth? An HP42 perhaps? :-) Thanks. Rob Rozee.
