Do the kermit SEND or RECV commands leave the IO channel open, and using power? I always do a CLOSEIO command after a transmission, but was wondering if it was really needed. I looked in teh manual, but could not find a flag that showed weither or not IO was open. Is there a way to check if the IO port is using power? Thanks in advance. - Ian Smith <<ims103@psuvm.psu.edu>>

Dealing with the I/O port is pretty simple. I/O will keep receiving until you turn it off with CLOSEIO or turn the calculator off. ian -=Runaway Daemon=-
