[comp.sys.handhelds] EDUcalc and the 28s

mm459504@longs.LANCE.ColoState.Edu (Michael Miller) (05/06/91)

Towards the end of January, I purchased one of EDUcalc's used 28s's
one of the battery tabs broke last night leaving me with no
memory, not battery door, and since the calculator needs super-human
pressure on said door, not even duct tape will make it operate correctly.

Now here's to problem: I no longer have a catalog, so I don't have info
on warrantee information, I don't have their number either. (I figure the
Credit Card statement will prove I purchased it in the first place) I do not
doubt that I can get it replaced, although it happened to fail the NIGHT
before finals week started (LAST NIGHT) needless to say, I'm feeling
a little stressed.

Please: send warrantee and phone number for EDUcalc ASAP! I would appreciate it
greatly!

The Customer Service Number for EDUCALC is 1-800- 677-7001 8 AM to 5 PM
Pacific time. I don't know how you will get a replacement in time for finals,
unless your finals week is on both sides of the weekend as it was here at UTC.
