I cannot get a large (98k) download to go past the 25th packet, using Kermit, with both a HHP HP 128k ramcard AND a CMT 128 ramcard installed. I tried b various measures, e including ressetting HP48, rebooting the PC, etc etc. No help. When the CMT card was pulled, asll all was el (sheesh - the terminal prog I am using has no correct p key for bakcspace - please pardong my giberrish - I dO type & speck the language...) Anyway, when the CMT card was pulled, all porce downloading proceeded OK and when the card was reinserted and remerged, all was STILL ok, what is going on?? I have found that downloads to the HP-48 at 9600 baud will frequently fail, usually early on, when the memory is sufficiently full. Downloading to an empty calculator usually works fine, but after something like 30K I have to back up to 4800 baud before things will work reliably again.
