I tried to download SUNCLK recently. Using the uuencoded version. SUNCLK was the program posted recently that made a picture of the earth and showed the day and night terminators. The uudecode looked fine however when run the machine entirely locked up. Even pulling the batteries and the dreaded ON-A-F failed to work. The last resort was the RESET Button and that worked. Even odder yet was that when I reloaded in my archived memory I tried to used PGDIR to remove SUNCLK directory and the machine locked again!!! Very odd behaviour. I just got my CMT 128K RAM card and am wondering if It could be the culprit. After I finnaly found a backup without SUNCLK in it all seemed to work though. This brings up a few questions. 1) Is the 48 a little more touchy when it has ram cards installed? 2) Is there anyway to avoid this in the future? Incidentally I have an HP48SX version D EE applications card in PORT 2 CMT 128K RAM card in PORT 1 and the HACKIT and MLDL1.02 libraries in PORT 0 ====================================================================== ___ I__) _ _I _ _ Tim Strong <TDSTRONG@MTUS5.cts.mtu.edu> I \ (_I (_I (_I I Michigan Tech.
