In the list of lists from ftp.nisc.sri.com I found a reference to a handhelds archive at csl.sri.com. Is this still in existence? Our gateway does not recognize csl.sri.com as a valid address. Furthermore sri.com rejects it if I am cunning and send mail to archive-server%csl@ sri.com. I got a message from <mcnc!CRVAX.SRI.COM!POSTMASTER> saying: " A Message to Host CSL.SRI.COM Failed to the following Users: archive-server, Failure Status: 00000000, Failure Reason: archive-server@CSL.SRI.COM>... User unknown" WHERE DID IT GO? Extract from list of lists (last updated May 26 1991): ------------------------------------------------------------------------- HANDHELDS@CSL.SRI.COM Mailing list for those who are interested in handheld computers or programmable calculators. The mailing list can be used to distribute or request programs. Messages are not moderated at this time. There are special addresses for archive submissions and retrievals: ARCHIVE-SERVER@CSL.SRI.COM - Electronic server for archives ARCHIVE-MANAGEMENT@CSL.SRI.COM - Address for submissions to archives The archive server is similar to that used at other sites. If you send an empty message with HELP on the Subject: line, it will provide a message about its usage. If you wish to see what is contained in the archives, send a Subject: line with INDEX HANDHELDS. Currently, all the messages for the handhelds mailing list are contained on host CSL.SRI.COM in file HANDHELDS.TXT. Additionally, two programs are available for the HP41C. All requests to be added to or deleted from this list, problems, questions, etc., should be sent to HANDHELDS-REQUEST@CSL.SRI.COM.
