The June 1991 issue of the Hewlett-Packard Journal has six articles on the HP 48SX calculator. Two 48's are shown on the cover in front of an HP Vectra running program development software for the 48. The articles cover the evolution of the 48 design, the built in applications, the Equation Library card, the hardware design, the I/O system (with some technical detail), and maufacturing. There are various pictures of the innards for those that just have to know what it looks like inside. Various libraries, educational institutions, and others receive the HP Journal.
