Hello,
I am a relatively new user of a 48SX and need to locate a program to
manage appointments and phone numbers. I know about the mail server and
tried a program I found there named 'appt.tar.Z' however I could not get
the 'APPDIR' object to load. I tried multiple downloads both with and
without binary mode. What am I doing wrong? Or does anyone have a
better, more usable package available. If there are any comercial
packages you might mention them also, but I am looking for a user
developed routine.

Well - your own outfit includes an EXCELLENT appointment calendar with the PC serial connect cable/interface kit. It also has a subdirectory called APPDIR (APDIR?) - and it works VERY well...
