I received a suggestion to try and recover a memory loss - do a memory resest and try again. This did not work. Any other suggestions would be WELCOME. Is the stuff actually gone or are pointers just rearranged? If the latter, is there something along the lines of a hex editor that can let me look at the stuff? I know, I know, I will now start backing stuff up. A little LATE... Thanks for any help you can give me. If the cause is a lost one, PLEASE let me know, I have not used my HP since this happened and do have _some_ of the stuff saved.
