I just joined the mailing list, so go ahead, flame me if this is a "frequently
asked question"...
I am interested in buying an HP48SX. Right now I have an HP28C. I got my 28C
about 6 months after they came out and I was quite annoyed when the 28S
came out shortly afterwards. If you compare the 28C to the 28S, the 28C
seems more like some prototype or demo model.
My question is, does HP have any plans to "fix" the HP48SX in the near future?
I know I could keep waiting forever for better models to come out, but that
is not really what I am saying. I just want to make sure that if I spend a
bunch of money AGAIN that 6 months from now I do not want to feel like I
had been sold a prototype.
By the way, I would also be interested in any sources for used HP28S and
HP28C calculators. Educalc has a six month back order on the used HP28S...
