[comp.sys.handhelds] Row Reduction, dead calculator

<stuff about row reduction program>

Hmm.. I guess my message to Dave did not make it to him, so I'll post it
here for all to see.

Sorry about the inconvenience of this program not correctly handling
linearly dependent matrices; when I wrote it I honestly thought there
was no practical use for linearly dependent matrices, but I have seen
lately that there are some practical uses and should be implemented
into my program. So over the last week I've spent hours rewriting the
algorhythms to correctly handle these matrices, and I would have been ready
to post the program today except my calculator died last night (sniff) and has
to be sent in for repairs.
     It was strange how it died, an alarm went off and the message "Warning:
Alarm" showed up but some pixels from the letters were missing, and nothing
I could do could bring it back from the dead. The service dept. at HP said
they have never heard of anything like that before, has anyone else had
a similair experience? Mine was rev E.
