Hello, I have been folling this news group only a little while but I think I am in the right place. I am interested in using the PC version of xlisp with a roland MPU-401 style MIDI interface. I was wondering if any one has either added extentions to the xlisp to access the MPU interface or if anyone has written lisp funtions for this. If anyone else is doing MIDI/Music related work with xlisp, has programs, suggestions or ideas about using xlisp (or lisp in general) in music or sound related applications please let me know. I am NOT very expereinced with lisp but think it would provide an interesting platform for some exploration so any input would be very helpful. Thanks in advance, Robert (P.S. if you e-mail please send to doiel@aludra.usc.edu) ************************************************************************* * _____ _________ * * / / / / / / / / * * / / / / / /_______/ / * * / / / / / / / / * * /______/ /______ __/__ / / / / * ************************************************************************* * Robert Doiel email : doiel@nunki.usc.edu * *************************************************************************

This is my first time in this group. I would like to know if Xlisp is software for Common lisp in Xwindows and if so, where can I find the source or binaries(for Sun 3.0)? Please e-mail to me. Jayram. jayram@paul.rutgers.edu jayram@brandx.rutgers.edu
